Did you know golfers can now submit casual rounds via the HowDidiDo App that can qualify towards your WHS Handicap?
@SophWalks is here to show you how, via the link below:
Gents,
When the new WHS handicaps came out last year some people found their handicaps had altered quite a bit due to not having many competitive scores in. You have the ideal opportunity to rectify this by putting some supplementary scores in (henceforth to be known as a Casual Round).
Until further notice all safety measures in place before the lockdown are still in force, so competitors must not exchange cards.
CASUAL ROUND (SUPPLEMENTARY SCORE)
At first glance the following instructions look complicated but, in fact, they’re not. Just read them carefully and it will all fall into place. Once you’ve done it a couple of times it will become second nature.
You MUST indicate that you are playing a Casual Round before you tee off. This is a way of getting scores in for your handicap. Here are the instructions on how to sign in and also enter your scores.
There are two attachments for you to see how the screens look in HDID and PSI.
You cannot enter a Casual Round score if you are playing in a betterball. It must be an individual round you are playing.
You must have a partner, who has a handicap, who can verify your score.
·Go into HDID and find “Today’s Golf”. Press that and you will see “Sign In”. Press that and you will then see “Casual Round”. Press “Sign In” and follow the instructions. You can also enter using CV1 Members Hub by pressing “View Competitions in Progress” and follow the above instructions for HDID.
You can also sign in and enter scores on PSI. Please note that if you sign in on PSI you cannot enter your scores on HDID. This is a known fault and Club Systems are working to fix it.
You MUST enter your score on completion. To enter your score follow the above instructions but press “Score Entry” instead of “Sign In”. Follow the on-screen instructions and your handicap will then be accepted. You can then dispose of your card. If you entering your score as a medal round just enter “0” if you have an NR on a hole. You will then need to press “Played But Did Not Score”.
If “Sign In” is not visible it means a Casual Round is not possible on that day. This can be for a number of reasons but usually because of the shortening of the course due to playing on temporary greens and/or tees.”
Gents casual rounds are now live. If you have any issues please contact Match.
